I repeat, the riddle is tricky.

Maybe it should be left for tomorrow?

Well - if we don't take midnight to serious, this is tomorrow. How about a hint?

Before I get lynched by the (quite justly and reasonably) angry guessers, I want to say a couple of words about my riddle.

First of all, it was intended as an experimental one. I see that the experiment wasn't successful; I apologise.

I present two (heavy) hints, which, probably, will lead you to an answer.

1. The answer has nothing to do with an instrument.    Shocked

2. Think about Frances Sargent Osgood.

My apologies once again... Embarrassed

This is not the answer to my riddle, Dean, but Edgar Allan Poe has his part in the riddle.

Think about the relations between the two.

No problem. And concerning your post: experiments are never bad. No need for an apology, I'm just curious as to what the answer is going to be...

While thinking, here's a hint on my still open riddle:

The leader of this band shares his name with a famous forest, near Nottingham.

Would it help if I told you that, although his new band is not listed, he himself is definitely listed in the archives?

EDIT: now why does this feel like a give away? Wink
