By jove, Angelo has got it.

Can I have my go?  My clue is simply amazing and you'll all get it in five minutes anyhow.

Fine.

Use the (electostatic) Force, Paul and Mary, to find your Lost Pilgrim.

I'm leaving the solution to Ben - but I am entitled to one more clue:

Decoupled by space, the 6th character

Finally!

For anyone not sure how that answer came about:

Use the force = a line from Star Wars, aimed at Luke Skywalker, played Mark Hamill (a play on Hammill, a differently spelled variant of his name)
Electrostatic = a reference to a Van de Graaff Generator
Paul and Mary = The other half of Peter, Paul and Mary
Lost Pilgrim = Hammill wrote songs called Lost and Pilgrims for VdGG and has mentioned Pilgrims in several songs.  Also a reference to Peter, from Peter, Paul and Mary

Now, it's either Angelo or Atavachron's go.
