I always thought that exodus would be a cool and symbolic name!Smile

Great names!

Here's some names I'd like to use for a band:

De Gulzige Kuur (Dutch,  meaning The greedy cure (name not inspired by The Cure)
Three Ladies on Bikes Eating Ice Cream
Taco Bar

Edit: Here's a new one that I came up with:

Die Schienenreinigungsfahrzeuge (German, meaning The rail cleaning vehicles).

actually I have a new band that we formed a couple of weeks ago... still in planning stages..

Spare Tire

We have some details already worked out... our first album will be a concept album based on the way society views beauty...  It will be titled "Rolls of Fat" It will be a fusion of Prog Metal and RPI with vocals in English ( cookie monster) and Italian (lemmy style)

the line up so far...

Micky - bass and vocals
Raffaella -drums and vocals

other instruments to be filled in by guest appearences by some of our fellow collabs when we get the basic tracks down
The Pedro and Micky Experience - When one no longer requires psychotropics to trip

The most inspiring source of potential band names and album/song titles I've found has come from Iain M. Banks' Culture novels: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_ships_(The_Culture)

Furious Purpose
Lucid Nonsense
Prosthetic Conscience
Unfortunate Conflict of Evidence
Wisdom Like Silence
Germane Riposte
We Haven't Met But You're A Great Fan Of Mine
You May Not Be The Coolest Person Here
Advanced Case Of Chronic Patheticism
Another Fine Product From The Nonsense Factory
etc.

LOL

I saw a band in the "punk.metal" section of a record shop called "Exploding F*ck Dolls". Dumbest band name I've yet to hear.

I like the intriguing ones like "Eden's Shadow" or something.
