For those here who play instruments, I was wondering what you think is the funnest to play. Whether it be on drums or Guitar, doesn't matter.

Me personally, I enjoy Rush quite a lot! You can tell that they just set out to be a fun rock band, and personally I prefer playing it then listening too it. It just gets me moving, you know? (Just a side note, I play guitar.) Anyone else have the same thing going with them?

(Ooh, and please mention why you think it's fun too play! Just makes it a little more interesting)

I play guitar. I love to jam to my prog records, but I seldom actually learn the parts. I prefer to imporvise over what they're playing. I especially like to play to return to forever's romantic warrior. I like the challenge of it! trying to keep up with 70's fusion's top dogs is no easy task!
for those about to prog, we salute you.

I love drumming to 73-74 era King Crimson w/ Bruford on drums.  National Health, Yes, and ELP are others I love drumming to.

I can mumble over almost any melodic prog since the first hearing, does that count as jamming? Tongue

I love playing any Opeth or Porcupine Tree acoustic guitar parts, especially Trains by PT and Harlequin Forest (middle section) by Opeth.  In general though, I love playing any good acoustic part from prog (or non-prog).
