....Sound On Sound Live, the daughter magazine of Sound On Sound.

In the article, he writes about the many issues connected with using software live on stage. He gives a quick history of his life with Marillion and a brief look at the now famous 'Marillion Business Model' (which actually deserves some discussion on the main page IMO) and the gradual introduction of computer technology into both his rig and the band as a whole.

The Sound on Sound website can be found HERE but the article is currently available to subscribers only (on line). You can however buy the magazine and get the daughter publication free.

Worth a look see if you are interested in music techy stuff and/or Marillion.

I must remind the right honourable gentleman that a monologue is not a decision.

Thanks, I do like Mark Kelly's contribution to the symphonic prog genre via his keyboard technology.  Second only to Tony Banks, IMO...

As a result of marks review of Brainspawn Forte, a VSTi host program specifically designed for live use, I bought it.  Since the review they've added control of hardware synths to the capability list.

It's a great program that gives you a virtual set list and at the press of a spacebar, or tap on a foot pedal, your entire keyboard rig is reconfigured to the next song (or song segment)

Mark is active on the Brainspawn forum making loads of product suggestions and generally pushing the envelope of the product.

And he's a great keyboard player too!
