Peter gabriel's record collection man...and jon anderson's...and george w bush (just for the fun). And again seriously robert fripp's, bill brufford's, peter hammills, but the one that really really i would like to see what he hears is Frank zappa's...pitty he didnt reached nowadays cause i would really like very much to hear what he thought about the status of nowadays music...i bet we would smoke some joints and laugh a lot about what he thought about whats being done now. Oh...just dreams...

I'd like to check Phil Collins' music collection, so I can tell you what music he really likes.... maybe, maybe, if he has a lot of prog in his collection, I will get some of you to love him... If he happens to have only pop, then all of his bashers will have a feast but finally they would have one strong argument going for them....WinkTongue

Arkfeldt is a great choice.

I'd like to see Bill Frisell's collection, and Quentin Tarrantino.  Also DJ Shadow's because he has access to the basement of a record store where other people who don't work at the store are not allowed to go, and he is a DJ.  Brian Eno probably has a nice collection, and I bet Nick Cave has an amazing collection of old murder ballads and rare kick ass stuff.

Interview in "Q" magazine 1992:

Q: Like who?
"Let's name names (laughs). Well, I mean, I had never been a fan of the bands that we'd always been compared to. I never really liked Jethro Tull that much. I never liked ELP at all. I was a big fan of the early Yes, but after Fragile I kind of lost interest. And the Floyd I've never loved apart from Arnold Layne. But we did this gig on Saturday at Cowdray Park for King Edward VII Hospital, and it was Queen, us, Clapton and the Floyd, and actually I went to the soundcheck and I was listening to the Floyd and a couple of the things they played I thought; I quite like that. There's a couple of things in there that, you know ..."

How do you know about the Akerfeldt's collection? Did you read it in interviews?

I knew that he loves old prog rock but I didn't know he was into a big collection...
