Sancocho is a masterpiece, too. More watery, has corn, plantains, yuca (don't know how in english), carrot-pieces.... wonderful
From world soups, noodles.

That sounds a bit like the soup we make here, erm... Potato Soup.
Our local speciality in Hampshire (olde England) is Watercress Soup - another cold soup, but I prefer it hot with double cream drizzled on the top.

What?

I love Clam Chowders, especially when in sourdough bread bowls. I just eat some of the soup and then eat the bowl with a thin layer of soup left....delicious!

Equal parts Heinz cream of tomato and Heinz lentil.
Heinz actually make a tomato and lentil soup but it's not as tasty!

None of the above, though I've tried all of them but tortilla soup. They're good, but my favourites are either Italian vegetable and pulse soup (like minestrone), or those wonderful Oriental noodle soups like the Vietnamese Pho. Anyway, I love soup, both eating and making it, and as a matter of fact I'm going to make some veggie soup tonight.

These aren't canned soups are they? If so shame on you! Chicken Noodle Soup? How about Mexican Chicken Soup? Kicks ass when you have a cold. Tomato? Blah. How about Tomato Basil Soup? I'll admit I do canned on occasion. Then it's a toss up between New England style clam chowder and Tortilla. Lot's of good Pho places in my area. Love 88 Tofu House's, Korean Mushroom Tofu soup. Indian Mulligatawny. Thai Chicken Coconut. Malasian Kari Mee. South Indian Rasam. Ok, I'm going to have to stop and get something to eat.

T-Ta-Tomato.
Chicken Noodle is alright too, though Manhatten Clam Chowder is certainly climbing the ranks fast.
