I like Depeche, but as a proghead, I obviously find Radiohead much more interesting, creative and inspired..... although the term "prog" is quite controversial when we're talking about Radiohead...

Strange but nice poll  Wink

Depeche Mode has released more albums I enjoy than Radiohead has, so my vote goes to DM.

It doesn't matter that one's here, the other's not (nor will it ever be, please...), but I like the non-porg much better in this case.... my vote goes for The Mode...

Obviously Radiohead must win this poll. The problem is related with most of the progheads hates Radiohead because they're controversialy in this site, leaving as only option, Depeche Mode.

Otherwise, I don't find any reason why proggers enjoy more Depeche than Radio..... It's like prefering Duran Duran over The Muse or the Mars Volta.

Practically.

DP introduced industrial sounds into their fairly standard synthpop music in the early 80's, (before Skinny Puppy, Ministry and KMFDM), eventhough many bands (eg Einsturzende Neubauten) had been there before them, IMO they were the first to bring it to popular attention.

"Girls on Film" is better than anything by The Mars Volta.
