I have no idea. Are they just playing 2 sets themselves, or is another band playing with them?

What I'd have given to see Marillion open for them in 1985 and Primus open for them in 1994.

They play two sets with no opener.  That's the way it should be!

I would go just to see primus.

It's actually thoughtful of Rush that they don't have an opening act. No matter how good the opening band would be, they would suck if followed by Rush.

It was going to be but Mike D allowed his sister Vanessa join the band, but she suffers from Adiposogenital Dystrophy, and this didn't settle to well with Geddy so the band went to his good friend Tom Delonge (Blink 182)  and asked him to open instead. The idea of bringing the full crew back in action was let in at the time, and baddabing baddaboom here it is!

The last tour Rush had an opening act was Counterparts.  Every tour ever since has been "An Evening with Rush", and I doubt they will change the formula.

Taal would have been a good opener, I think.

Miriodor, Alamaailman Vasarat, and Koenjihyakkei would be interesting openers.

There would be riots if there was an opening act and the show was less than 3 hours.

How about  if Rush's old buddies MAX WEBSTER  opened for them!!
They have a lot of great stuff, and they could end the show with a killer
  version of BATTLESCAR!!!

You saw them in Boston last night Puma? So did I! It's a shame I didn't know you were going, I could have used a ride Wink

Anyway, it was great to hear some of the older material (although not as much as I would have liked.) I'm just glad my prayers to hear Circumstances were answered.
