I don't eat meat because society tells me to.  I eat meat because it's yummy.

Good to see ya again Fandango, and I'm staying away from Canadians.  Well, we will never have dinner together Fandango, because I would feel obliged to make fun of your nut roast.  Wink
I can understand your anger at me, but what did the horse I rode in on ever do to you?

I prefer to eat food that used to have mother.

I'm avoding vegetarian cuisine(s) simply because I don't like cooked vegetables. However, if they are prepared well, I wouldn't mind skip a meat every few days or so.

I eat meat because, as The Doctor said, it's yummy. Then again, I can understand why some people don't.
There's one thing that annoys me though, and that's people who sell, buy and eat things with names like 'Quorn Schnitzel' or 'Vegetable Burger'. If you really are a vegetarian, why would you need some non-meat that is named after a piece of meat? That, from where I'm standing, is pure hypocrisy. Feel free to disagree...

LOL LOL

I eat meat because it's tasty and it's a good source of nutrition. And yes, I'm selfish. I was born selfish, it's part of my primal instincts. This selfishness is part of securing the welfare of the future generations of my breed.

I'm a shameless carnivore.

Alcohol, tobacco(not a habit though), weed, it's all masterliness. Screw morals and live your life to the fullest, just don't die(yet).

Is alcohol vegetarian? I know it's made from vegetables (fruit or cereal) with sugar and yeast, which is a fungus, (drink more beer and be a fungi!), but don't they use issinglass and gelatin to clarify it?

I eat meat rarely, but prefer my vegetables to be cooked a little longer.
What?

Well, from my perspective, meat is disgusting so why would I want to eat an imitation of something I think tastes bad?

It's not exactly hypocrisy, but I guess you could argue that it's promoting the continued existence of a "meat-eating culture"...but really, most vegetarians I know are doing it for personal reasons and not trying to eliminate human consumption of meat worldwide.
