Cheers Kaz, now changed.
(It's probably best to PM the reviewer in such cases, and they can decide whether to have the review edited.)

I say we ask him where he got the drugs
It's probably some stimulant, as he can really express his emotions but about the music itself? Not a word! .....
Obviously not a brain stimulant |

Review by Corujolio (jose daniel chacon) Systematic Chaos... hmmm... what can I say about this album? for me is one of the best albums from "Rudess Era". Really complex, technical, dark... I really like this album. Im really sick of reviews like this!

Why, for giving a 5 star rating to a DT album??
I know, it's not the best-ever review, but I don't think it calls for deletion... And the rating is kinda wise...

Are you proposing deletion BJ, if so, on what grounds?

I would say that this is exactly the sort of anti-DT request that needs to be seriously skewered ... after BJ is directed to the T's magnificient thread on the problem with DT. |

It seems the flak BJ's complaint is getting is more about politics than anything else, and is transparent and smells of bias. BJ is expressing an honest and quite right dissatisfaction with the review (it's extremely poor) but because DT must be defended at all costs, a bad review should stay. Funny.

No man, I'm not saying that. I'm saying the review should stay because, as poorly-written as it may be, it's not offensive, it's SOMEWHAT (highlight that word) informative, SOMEWHAT detailed.... I've never seen reviews being deleted just because they're poor...I've seen reviews deleted because they're poor AND offensive, or poor AND too short, poor AND containing false facts, or poor AND, well, VERY poor.... This is a bad review, but I've seen so much worse...I've seen hundreds of reviews like that of CLOSETOTHEEDGE, SELLINGENGLAND, KIng Crimson, etc... yet nobody cares or accuses the review of blind fanboyism....why a DT review has to receive this treatment?
Are we punishing DT because of their celebrity? (flashback to a current stupid situation here in the US )

I demand all of you admins to resign your positions and leave them consolidated in the hands of JackBH... That guy really KNOWS MORE THAN ANYBODY.... And believe me, if he WASN'T such an expert in prog, I wouldn't ask this...

Well, Jack certainly has a high opinion of himself, and the review borders on being offensive, he's so full of himself. However, that said, Morgan Fisher and Timothy Staffell recorded an album together? I must obtain this. I love Mott the Hoople and Smile, and think that probably is a kick*ss album.

A good release (I don't know how much rare) it is the following one: 2004 by BMG RICORDI S.p.A. (82876646662) with mini LP package!!! I love this album (that I bought used), not because is Recorded June/ July 1972 at RCA studios Rome (published by RCA Italiana), but because Morgan Fisher use at least 6 or 7 types of keyboards. Besides it isn't a disc like to the ELP but rather to a mix of Genesis, VDGG and YES, even if has enough ELP. This is a very obscure Symphonic Gem... Even if, to the end, it is a normal disc...!!! |

I guess you can teach old dogs new tricks.... discussing..in the proper area..
Ben... it's a average review... and incomplete... the only crime he's committing are to the God's of prog for not typing correctly and completely the band members (If he wants to be credible, he'll ask to have it editted).... and to himself for blowing his foot off to ever be considered for a PR position hahhaha. He makes a couple general points... and that's that. Not helpful to be sure... but worthy of singling out......? Doesn't hurt that he is right either hahhahha. |

Yes it's worth singling out He forgot Elton Dean. He spelled Hopper wrong. That should be grounds for expulsion in my book. Especially for spelling Hopper wrong. And you still haven't answered my question on how an album that contains four 20 minute songs (starts off with feedback as well) is more accessible than the later albums which are more jazz than jazz rock/fusion? And it should be than the later albums instead of then. |

I like how he misspells Trick of the Tail. The mark of a true diehard. It's one thing to say stuff like "I believe this album is underrated" I write things like that all the time. But he flat out tells us that we don't know how to review. |
