Don't worry, I'm as intelligent as they come. I even have a very small penis.

That falls in the catagory of "far more information than you needed to share." That proves your absent-mindedness, and thus you must be a mad-scientist or something. |

It would be awesome to be a mad scientist. Maybe I am, I've just forgotten about it in my absent-mindedness.

^ Vompatti, perhaps you're a professor, and not a scientist at all. Yes, an absent minded professor... has a nice ring to it don't you think? |

^ Why? My name is not Richard, I'm not very small (even my penis would probably be considered average in size), my nose is
really not that big (I can't fit any coins in it), I'm not a professor and I know absolutely nothing
about quantum physics. I am kind of stupid looking and absent minded though.

I don't have pennies. The smallest coin I've got is 5 euro cents, and only half of it fits. I guess my nose is smaller than it looks.
I wonder in how many noses has an average coin been. Edited by Vompatti - June 05 2007 at 13:17 |

^ Aha! Therein lies the problem, we've an ocean between us.
As far as in how many noses has an average coin been, I surmise it would be a function of the size of the coin. On this side of the ocean I would postulate that the average coin would be smaller than your average coin and would therefore have been in more noses.
Such an intelligent thread!

On the other hand, a relatively large coin might present itself as a challenge, thus creating the urge to try to fit it in your nose. Of course they don't always fit, so I'd say that very large coins have been in very few noses, and very small coins, which would fit in many different noses, have also been in few noses, because most people don't consider it necessary to put in their noses coins so small that they obviously fit. That's why I think that the coins that have been in noses the most often are around the average size.

^ I'll defer to someone who apparently knows noses better than me! My nose is so small (how small is it?) that I'd have to quarter quarters to fit one in.

Never trust smart people. They're the ones who think up all the great ideas that get us into trouble. That why I have a lock on my brain. Unfortunately, none on my mouth.

Noses are very fascinating creatures indeed. I've had the same nose for all my life, and he still finds ways to surprise me!

Not true. It's actually that I have evolved to the point where others (yourself included) no longer need noses. |
