I'm still voting for Rain Dances. But the list proves that Camel made many good albums.

Mirage has two votes but nobody dares to confess doing it That's the last one I'm ever gonna vote against. So, it's a race between Rain Dances and Nude. Rain Dances started their downward spiral after three brilliant albums, and Nude is the bright spot in their worst period. I rate both of them three and a half stars, most of the songs are very good, but Rain Dances has the awful Highways of the Sun and the not-very-good One of these days blah blah blah, while Nude has the tad overlong Lies and good-but-could-be-better City Life and Please Come Home. Well, I think Highways of the Sun deserves to go, too bad for all the great songs on the album.

The two songs you mentioned from Raindances are my least favorites too, too bad because the rest of the album is so good. Also agree with your statement about Nude, I love this album !!!
Apparently I am the only one who thinks highly of I Can See Your House from Here, such an underrated gem as far as I am concerned !

It's one of my favorites too, (like I Can See Your House from Here, which was booted early, and I listened to it again last night and asked myself if some people really listened to it or just went along with what others thought of it because it really is an excellent album in my opinion, but that's another story) but it's a game, and we get to find out people's preferences... I would only like to know the reasons that make people vote for a particular album...

That was tough picking my least favorite Camel album, but I went with Rajaz. Not that it's a bad album at all, but of those still listed, that is probably the one that I like less than all the others. Now if Single Factor had been there, the choice would have been easy. Sad that I Can See Your House From Here is gone, as I think that's a highly underrated album. Come on, Ice rocks. And I'm shocked that Raindances seems to be leading the pack here for least favorite. What gives? That album is a classic.

Definitely it does, but to me one great song doesn't necessarily make a good album. Well, there's also the great Hymn to Her and good Eye of the Storm, but rest of the album is either merely ok or complete crap. If i'd voted on the first rounds, this would have been the first or second to go.

I also think Who We Are is a great song. I guess I have a soft spot for this album as it and Mirage were the first two Camel albums I ever heard.
