My friend sent a very flattering eMail to the Gryphon website, and got this response! Looks like a new album could be on it's way Smile

That's great news. I'm glad to see they're looking into reviving Gryphon. Glad to see they've still got it in them.

Nice! I'm intrigued, and can't wait to hear some new hotness. "Red Queen" to this day remains in solid rotation and gets brought out once every few months.

Also, I would like to take responsibility for helping foster the growing interest in Prog...I make all my friends listen to it and burn them CDs and stuff, have turned on a number of people. C'mon folks, let's make this happen...I won't rest until we can get all the other 70's bands I didn't get to see in concert back together and on the road...Cool

Now that is what I call ambitious.  Can you work on getting all the Republicans out of the White House staff first?  Wink

Sigh, if only I had the power to do so...Cry

Which begs the moral question: Would you endure 4 more years of Censored Dubya as a trade off for seeing a full 5 man Genesis tour?

I dunno, I could always move to Canada...Ermm

Bloody brilliant! i love gryphon. for those who havent heard Treason by the way, Jon Davie is a ridiculosly talented bassist, so im pleased the've got him on board. Im actually quite surprised that Richard Harvey is up for it, but thank god he is. itll be nice to see Greame taylor back as well.
im generally quite sceptical about these reunions, but Gryphon arent just any band.. im sure they'll put something very good together.

That's a bit selfish, isn't it? (From your perspective of course--some people would be happy for that to happen)

Masterliness!  I still need Treason, which is rare on CD so I'll happily buy a LP version sometime soon.  Midnight Mushrumps and Red Queen... are both amazing, and the debut and Raindance are great too.
