Well just wait until 2029 OK? Once your eternal ruler you can do whatever, so give some others a chance first.

This is the first major election I'll be able to vote in, and so far, I don't like any of the "major" candidates, especially Hillary Healthcare Clinton. I honestly have no idea who I'd vote for right now...

On the topic of education, I think magnet schools are, or should be, the future of public education through high school. Our school system in my county has greatly improved in many areas, since quite a few of the schools switched to magnet. My brother goes to a magnet school, and I can say he gets a much better education there than at any other private school in the area. Students are staying in school, actually learning, and moving on to pursue higher education, and let's face it, if you don't have a degree these days, it's MUCH harder to get a better job. This also helps get rid of,or at least reduce zoning issuesDead, which have long been a problem in my county. Most of the rest of my state, excluding Nashville, hasn't really adopted the magnet school system yet, but I can see that changing soon, the public school system in Memphis is pretty bad, I think a switch would definitely do it good.

Whoa, thank god for dictatorships & dummies - thank you.
What's not to get is the key to unlock the cell you should locked in ...
But then, not everyone is equal. Some actually believe in respect for others opinion & worth. And if & when you are king, let's hope the revolution follows quickly.
P.S. Socialists as a term is soooooo 1960s. What you mean is people who are idealistically pursuing the common good for everyone. They, like a lot of people, could use a lesson in pragmatism & reality. You , could use a lesson in extremism (how to recognise yourself) & humility (how to see your true self).
All Rise ... I have finished my pronouncements. You may go in no worse a shape or wisdom than when you arrived here Smile

yeah, I was exaggerating my opinion for effect.  Socialists are fine, but they should know that they are pursuing an impossible dream.  I take the Objectivist stance (I'm not a follower of Ayn Rand) that complete altruism is a regressive evil and will lead to global stagnation, so I naturally oppose socialism, marxism, communism, etc

But, it won't matter much when I become King of Earth and lead our people onto several intergalactic victorious over the Norvarts from Zemultous-8

They haven't held their primary yet but I believe the front runner is George Phillies.

Libertarians, I agree with them economically 100% and agree with them socially 0%.

If I were an American , I'd move to Canada.  Cause there the left of centre party governs from the center & the right of centre governs governs from the center. They just talk funny the rest of the time.

I haven't really been following it yet, but from what I have, none of the major party candidates really stood out yet.  I'll be able to vote in the '08 election, and will most probably be voting for the Green Party.

No, they haven't chosen a candidate yet.  I'm rather curious to see who they come up with.  I believe their '04 candidate, Michael Badnarik isn't planning on running again.  I actually voted for him last time because I absolutely couldn't stand Bush or Kerry, and while I didn't entirely agree with Badnarik, I agreed with his ideas more than any of the others.

Personally, I'd just prefer to see the two-party system done away with.  It doesn't seem like it's about the issues any more, just the (R) or (D) next to someone's name.  We've basically just got a bunch of Sirruses and Achenars in office (Myst referenceGeek) as far as I'm concerned.  If indie rock is so darn popular, why can't indie politicians be the next big thing?

If it comes down to it, I'll either be voting Libertarian, or if I have to be conformist, Obama, if he makes it through the primaries.  Maybe Giuliani.  Hillary just scares the Censored out of me . . .

Of course, we could all write in Jon Anderson.  Just thing the campaign platform: rearranging the country's liver to the solid mental grace.  I'm not sure about awakening gentle mass touching, though.Confused

Have you rearranged your liver to the solid mental grace today?

I completely disagree with one very important idea of anarcho-syndicalist: they don't allow anybody to sold its property so in fact they limit people's freedom. That's why I'm a anarho-capitalist.
