Topic: Magic Pie Posted: May 20 2007 at 16:31 |
This week I have been listening to a few songs by Magic Pie, and I must say they sound really great.
Which of these two albums would you recommend?

I have their first and it's quite OK, one of the better retro-prog bands. Looking forward to hearing their second.

They're both very good. Second one is less progressive but lo less impressive for that.
Therefore, no vote.

Neither; I don't find either to be enjoyable.

I think while a little less proggy,Circus of Life is pretty good, particularly the 21+ minute track Trick of the Mind. That being said,I prefer their debut album over the two so far,but should really listen to their newer album a few more times.

It's too early for me to vote. I really enjoyed the first one (being one of the first prog albums I own), but I've only heard Circus of Life once so far. I really enjoyed it, but its a bit unfair for me to decide between them at the time being.
If you have enough money for both then feel free to get them chronologically.
