Want to download some of those great videos?

(I've been using www.youtubex.com, but it appears to be down today. It's the best downloader I've used, as it gives you a preview and all the associated text).

You can use the Riva player to watch them, Producer to create your own, etc;

OR

Simply associate *.flv files with Media Player (if you have the latest version), and you can create playlists as you would with any other media - and queue 'em up for non-stop prog video goodness!

I put this in "Just for Fun" - but I think it has such wide appeal that it probably belongs here too:

Hmmm I have a question... again im not up on all this... computer business.. im not to proficient with my ... files.. and.. things ... (I am good at typing out way too many periods.... .. .. . .) ... so heres the question:

Is there a way I can take these files from yourtube (or another site like it) and save them to my hard drive? so I wont have to always buffer... or... re-download or something? I really... reeaallly want to save these files.. REEEAALLLY bad.

I need some cookies..
I was trying to do that too since a friend of mine has one King crimson video that is in there. If i come up with a solution i'll tell you

Yes,you can save anything you want from YouTube & others like it , by copying the video's address into the blank from this address http://javimoya.com/blog/youtube_en.php . You choose youtube from the list (in case you download your video from youtube site) and press the download button. PS: 1.you have to save your videos like this : name.flv ; 2.you need flv player to view them all,but there must be a way to change them into .avi files or something like this,it's just that i don't know it. 3.sometimes,after downloading 1 or 2 videos you have to refresh that site ,else it won't work for the next ones.
