I play the triangle too! I've also been playing drums for about 25 years. Unfortunately most of the work I get is for percussion (congas etc) with singer songwriters and such, but I'm not complaining... I do need to play some prog drums!!!!

Guitar, bass, keyboard, and vocals - all in my home recordin' studio. And when my band's drummer couldn't comprehend the 13/4 of "Starless", drums too (only basic patterns [ie surf-rock, blues, jazz, and hard rock], but in any time sig - a specialty I guess).

My band would use a fine prog triangulist!
Too bad I haven't started learning to play anything!

I can play bass guitar (not too good, but not too bad either), I'm learning to play piano (about Grade 1 or so), and I can "play" my brother's guitar (by which I mean I can play a couple intros to songs and strum about 4 chords), and I can play the drums (well I can play a very simple beat). I want to learn a wind instrument though...

Well, I have been a guitarist since I was 11, but I CAN also play the
bass, because it's so similiar to the guitar. And then I can play some
drums, and also recorder, harmonica, piano etc... But I'm mainly a guitar player.
And I wouldn't even count such instruments as triangle, claves etc. |

i love playing multiple instruments! if i had money i would be a one man band. the instruments i actually have (and can play of course) are guitar (my first instrument; i prefer acoustic, classical that is), flute, piano, organ (hammond of course!), bass (no crap since i play guitar), drums, glockenspiel, mandolin, recorder, trumpet, harmonica.
I'm trying now to get an alto sax, and i hope to get a tenor and soprano sax in the not to distant future. I also really want a violin and viola; and a cello (why not). I REALLY would love a harpsichord, and a lute. I really like woodwinds, so I'm interested in getting an oboe and bassoon to. and french and english horns would be nice. also, it would be really good to have a better hammond (mine's old and barely ever works perfectly and isn't really that good of a hammond anyway) preferably a b-3, or c-3. and a minimoog model d, and mellotron 400d. it would also be kinda cool to have a mandola and mando-cello to have like a mandolin ensemble, but i'm not into mandolin enough to do that. wow, well i guess i should get a job... I can play anything really. I am the most strongest in drums/percussion (9 years experience). Guitar as well, mostly rhythm though. I can learn a new instrument in matter of an hour or two. I just need to know the basics behind it.

all instruments are basically similar whether they have keys, valves, holes or strings - they take little time to learn but a lifetime to master. |

Hey man. Get a spinet like I have. I don't own a B3 but get a l101 or something, they sound really good if run through something besides their stock speakers, they are usually like free or 100-200 bucks. |

I played clarinet at school for 3 years, and then switched to tenor saxophone(the two are very similar so it takes pretty much no time to switch) for two years and then i stopped hiring instruments and bought an alto sax which i've played fro 2 years now. I'd rather have a tenor, but altos are far cheaper.
I've been trying to teach myself keyboard on and off over the past year or so, and want to take up guitar sometime. |

Play drums - any and all kinds of drums. Can also arpeggiate (sp?) chords on a keyboard - piano or otherwise. Want to learn guitar sometime, but not sure I have the time or the patience to devote to learning...
