As of September, I will be a student studying 'Journalism, Film and Media' so I guess I'll vote student. As of now, I'm on a gap year- I felt a bit burnt out after my A Levels last year...

Which subjects are you doing? For AS (and A2), I did English, Business Studies, History and Sociology.

Excuse me, but you didn't list one of the largest employers there is. Where is the restaurant industry? 
I am a Server (waiter to those who still haven't realized the title changed over 20 years ago).

The subjects I'm doing for AS: Chemistry, Biology, Maths (Mechanics), and English Literature. I might drop English Literature next year, but I'm not too sure. Also I'm doing an extra maths class, Decision Maths 1 is the book I'm doing right now.

I am doing a course that is "equivalent" to "2 A-LEVELS", a vocational course in Advanced GCE in Applied ICT, my final year, I hope I pass.
Also GCSE Maths (Resit) which a Hate so Much!!!

Have to be honest, I personally was never great when it came to maths and science especially. In year 11 I did well with my GCSE grades but I would not wish to repeat those subjects again.
I was going to drop Business (and at one time Sociology, but I'm glad I stuck that out!) after AS, but goodness, I'm glad I didn't- the sixth form in my school was fairly excruciatingly dull enough without having even more free time. I think it's always good to have a 'security grade', too.

When I was at school (Pre-GCSE days) the sixth form was so boring sometimes that even the worst (behaved/attitude)student would do their own homework and help with somebody elses just to eleviate the boredom.The worst occasions were when we had free periods during the middle of the school day.
Not enough time to go home and come back or to go somewhere and not have to turn around and go back to school once you had got there.

Ah see when I went to 6th form college (a long time ago!) we had a pub nearby that did "Student Spesh" of half a guiness and a marmite sarnie for 50p and had a total PROG juke box........
........ maybe that explains a lot.........
