My current favorite albums are:
Porcupine Tree - Stupid Dream Porcupine Tree - Deadwing Porcupine Tree - Fear of a Blank Planet I suppose there's a common theme running through those ![]() (I'm getting myself psyched up & prepared for the May 19th show in NYC) (And, I'm particularly addicted to Anesthetize off of FOABP. Possibly the best song ever created) From the proggy-but-not-prog side of things, here are some other albums I've been addicted to recently: Katatonia - The Great Cold Distance The Beatles - Abbey Road (particularly the side 2 medley) |

Not familiar with Sound Horizon. How's it like?

Mostly jazz rock/fusion featuring Elton Dean or Keith Tippett for me.
I'm really delving into my Canterbury and Jazz Rock/Fusion at the moment. Bone - Uses Wrist Grab is also an album I cannot get enough off and I can also feel a Soft Mountain and Le Silo bias coming on soon. |

Once I submitted Sound Horizon for PA but it seems to be rejected on data base.
![]() Sound Horizon was started by multi-instrumentalist Revo in 2001. This music is, so to say, not depressed Devil Doll + Novela-ish progressive hard rock + pop rock + jazz + progressive folk rock + main stream symphonic rock...
![]() SH's albums are highly story-oriented also composed as suite music.
*Similar groups / artists; uuuuuu, what is similar to it .... Devil Doll is very far.
![]() ![]() By the way, can you imagine a bit of SH's music ? I'm afraid it makes you confuse.
