Glad to hear that too. Smile

But that does make me think of the three or four people that were from around here. Couple that with the tremendous flooding in the NJ/NY area...all that heartbreak in one weekend...heck, in one day...

Here's an article that describes how my friend saved himself with a tourniquet.  The phrase "total badass" doesn't even begin to describe...

If you've seen the picture that's been all over cable news and the internet of the guy with no pants on being carried by 4 cops... that's him

That story goes up there with the manly badasses like the guy who cut his own arm off with a blunt pocketknife after he got stuck on some mountain!
Epic.

I'm afraid I've had to remove a few more posts. this is not the thread to discuss gun control, politics, etc. Please use a separate thread for such discussions.

Edit - I've amended the thread name slightly to clarify.

I thought we agreed on NO discussion of gun politics.

And has anyone seen these pictures/video he sent to NBC?
DISTURBING is and understatement.

I saw it on the news myself.
And I don't know if I'd feel right doing so....I mean this guy wanted publicity and to get his warped "message" out there. He wanted everyone to see...

wow, what a day...

I was live on Sky News yesterday, and today I did interviews with KROQ (K-rock) in los angeles, and even a segment for MTV News with john norris.  It seems a few outlets aren't so much interested in story develpments anymore, so much as how students reacted, and how student media covered it.  The MTV segment was filmed in our radio studio with me on the air playing Merzbow, and with our 'Die MTV Die' sticker squarely in the frame.  Awesome.

I'll have a few things to say about the state of american and world media, as well as about the healing power of music, but I'll have to wait until I have more time.  Thanks for letting me come and vent some of my thoughts here throughout this process.

I hesitated about bringing up this painful topic again.... but I'm on the news!

I didn't speak, but I'm the dude in the office in the red shirt working on the computer.  I own.

OK, enough bad news, back to music and the enjoyment of life!
