I think I probably had a cat vindaloo last night in the back streets of Birmingham. I was pulling short black hair out of my mouth for hours afterwards Dead

I think it is just a matter of how are they... errr... ¿raised?. Anyway, I heard that the first weeks of life are crucial to develope a true relation with your cat. Mine, male or females, have always been tender creatures. Most of the times, they sleep in our beds. The actual one sleeps on my pillow and wash my face when I wake up, like if a were a cat too or something like that. She also bites my arms like when they look for fleas. It's hilarious. Your cat must grow in the company of someone. If they spent their childhood alone almost all the time, they'll get used to be by themselves.

Ours too slept with us (mostly on my wife's side). I was funny because at some point we noticed that around 10pm the cats were gone from the living room and then when we went to sleep (usually between 12-1) they were already sound asleep on our pillows... They had this schedule and they went to sleep by 10pm.
And I used to wake up early around 5:15-5:30  (was back when we lived in Israel) and I had to move them so I could wake up and they gruntled, made some noises of discontent at me, opened one eye and went back to sleep in anotehr spot on the bed. I think that if we counted the time they spent sleeping it would be more than 14 hours per day... Pure bliss...

I got a picture that almost look like this one, but instead of 2 cats, the picture shows one of our first cats sleeping with my baby brother (he is not a baby now, it is a rather old picture). So, replace the bigger cat in the image with the best my brother you can imagine, and you'll get a mental picture of how close our cats are with us.

Well, mine has this habit of sleeping over any visitor. When I say "over", I mean that the cat notice that someone new is in the house. Then she hides in the visitors room and waits. I don't know why, but 50% of the people who has experienced this assault doesn't notice the cat until they wake up. I specially remember a friend that came home after a show (my brother is in a band). He used a sleeping bag. The following morning, I entered the room to see if they were there, just to see my cat sleeping over this friend like if he were a pillow. I took her out. My friend says "Aa...aargh!!!" and turns over...

Some pics of your two sister cats (which we left in Israel with my sister in law when we left Israel).
One is named Nunzio, but her nick name is Frou because that is the sound she makes when she jumps on or from furniture.
Her sister is Francesca (Arabella di Medici...) and she is very nice to you, on her own terms.

This is Frou when she was a few weeks old after finding them abandoned

And this is Francesca at the same age

This is Frou at an older age in a typical posture

And some more of her
This is an Amazon box which in which she "nested"...

Francesca was appointed Kepper of CD's

Francesca had sometimes this weird astonishsed face

And she is always vigilant

They like to cuddle together
