Nope, I'm not going to play favorites. Can't make me.

(And James, thanks for being the only one to mention me. )

This is a nigh on impossible task & one which many of you have risen to with aplomb (except Ben, who's still too young to have grown a plomb); if I write a list, I risk missing off many of those I've befriended over the years, but I shall try (although be prepared to see "edited by Jim Garten" at the bottom very soon afterwards as I remember others...)

OK, then - deep breath

Professor Peter
James DaGeck0
Progarchivesismypatheticsubstituteforareallife'cosismell
Mystic Fred
TonyR
Officer Danbo The Flatulent
Easy Livin'
Man Erg
Snow Dog
Certif1ed
Heavyfreight (hey - we been buddies for years, anyway...)
Chopper
Sigod
Sygytgtgtygtygynyzz (or however the hell you spell it)
kazansky
Ghost Rider
Micky
All members past and present of those rooms Grey and Ranting

And not to forget the bestest member of all:

Vicky! - 'cos she's the only member who allows me to sleep with her

I guarantee this list will be edited as and when I frantically try to add others I suddenly remember before they notice they've been left out...

Overall: great community, great people, all of them. Smile I have had great time here, which has helped me a lot. I have also learned a lot here, on both music and proper human interaction. Thank you - and for mentioning me, too Hug

wow.. thanks for the kudos.. *as my head gets stuck in the door*

I have met so many people here... it is impossible to name all....  lets just say I have enjoyed all the people I've met..

some do merit special praise though

Ivan 'if the glove don't fit.. you must acquit' Melgar-Morey-  first invited me here.. and the 10 odd pages of  debate (LOL) over the release date of Fragile (which of course I won LOL) sealed the deal about staying here. We disagee strongly, most of the time, but you are like me in many ways so I will always like you I guess LOLWink

Tony R. ' the Rush-fanatic.. leader of Tony's fearless brigade of fighting Rush-fanatics'. We got off to a BAD start.. and ended up... I consider at least... good friends.

Assaf - hell of a guy and really opened my eyes to some music...

Erik and Dallas Bryan - again you both really got to expand my listening habits, and get out of Anglo-centered Prog

Andrea C, Mandy, Andrea P, and Guillermo -  thanks for all the help with RPI, and all the suggestions,  and liking my suggestions hahhaha.

David and Rico - for being the best team of all the genre teams.  If Raff and I ever decided to adopt.. Rico..  you have a home hahhahah

Ben - for shear enthusiam and his love of Rush.. misplaced as it is LOL

I didn't mention everyone.. but I could go on for pages mentioning people like Jim G. and Peter R. who make this forum a joy to visit and work in.

edit - a special shout out to Philippe... for giving me the signature of PA's history, and helping me with RPI. You are priceless, in spite of the bad blood, you helped me.. I told you we were too similar not to get along hahahha

Hahaha! This makes me think of the SA forums(something awful) My brother is an SA forums member and they're constantly making jokes about the typical members( as SA calls them : Goons) because they're all into dorky stuff. They actually remind me a lot of the PA forums' members because they're so amiable!

To be honest, I like almost everyone on this forum, though of course I have my preferences (which I'd like not to express, at least for the time being). However, I can say those I don't particularly like are those who think they are above the rules - not just forum rules, but those that should regulate any kind of social life. Therefore, anyone who resorts to name-calling, sl*gging off and such other objectionable behaviour is not likely to be counted among my favourites.

So far I've met three other forum members... one you know aboutWink, the other two are my fellow Italians Andrea C. and Andrea S., also known as Mandrakeroot. Hopefully in the near future I'll get to meet some more - in particular, I'd like to organize an Anglo-American-Italian meeting on British soil before the end of the year.

Ermm I responded to this thread against my better judgement, perhaps (those good people who are left out often have their feelings hurt), but still, I wanted to acknowledge the many friends and acquaintances whose posts and "company" I enjoy here.

This place is much like a community to me, especially as I live so far from home, family  and "real" friends. PA helps -- big time! Smile

One whom I forgot to list among my faves is Nutter Alert.

I really enjoy his irreverent, off-the-wall humour.  Whimsy and smiles are  good for the soul! Thumbs%20Up

Keep the silliness coming, Nutter! Big%20smile

it really is a community of sorts.. it actually helped me through a bad period in my life where I could just come and relax and forget about the pain of life.

Mandrakeroot  for making threads that nearly always make me laugh, no matter the content! And markoshererra for making hilarious comments to almost all pictures in the rogues gallery.

also, I need to mention Snowdog(for openly admitting to enjoy Scarsick. now THAT takes guts :P) and laplace(for making sarcastic and humorous posts, in addition to that brilliant avatar and signature)

Surprised noone has yet mentioned Logan, quite a lighthearted fellow with arguments aplenty, as well as Trademark (who doesn't post much anyway).

Apart from that, don't really have favourites, although I find some people's post to be more substantial than others.

Last but not least Mr. Dick Heath's informative posts.
