most certainly GWAR.
Jizmak the Gusher and Beefcake the Mighty are some of the finest musicians of our time.
However, I demand the addition of Dethklok to this list!

You are joking of course, but I would not be surprised to see Duran Duran in Art-Rock in the not-so-distant-future....

I am obviously serious. And Duran Duran are at least Novembre-related (we need to implement this category some time soon!), as are Depeche Mode.

On another note, there'll be an implementation of a new genre soon - Prog-Punk and the first band to feature in it will be.... The Clash!
The ZART will first be in charge of this new genre and with time we'll assign members to deal with this genre and thus create a new genre team.
Anyone interested?

Good, you're in
Just so you know, we're still debating this about The Sex Pistols addition.
In addition, there'll be some new additions to Proto-Prog of bands that contributed to the development of Prog-Punk.
Your suggestions for adding bands are welcome.

The preliminary list
Proto-Prog-Punk or Proto-Punk:
Ramones, MC5, The Stooges, New York Dolls, The Stranglers.
Prog-Punk:
The Clash, Sex Pistols?, The Go-Go's, The Plugz, Negative Trend,
Post-Punk will also be introduced.
Maybe also Hardcore Punk.
Here's a list that can help:

I would have said no on the Go-Go's, but the rest of the list seems fine.
Would like to nominate teh Buzzcocks for prog-punk right away, but I can make a more inclusive and detailed list later on tonight or tomorrow.
