I am trying to compile a list of prog songs that follow some sort of Alien story line. Anyone know of any?

A lot of GonG's stuff takes place on Planet GonG. I think....
Regarding Magma, there's no actual aliens involved, only humans that travel to other planets.

Similar thing with 'Watcher of the Skies'.
This is just a song about some guys who are... er... watching the skies (from the Earth).
Peter G. certainly knew his classics:
"Then I felt like some watcher of the skies
When a new planet swims into his ken" (John Keats)

Indeed.
"Lots and lots of pothead pixies
flying around in teapot taxis!"
Which also brings to mind Steve Hillage's immortal lines, sung ever so charmingly by his partner Miquette:
"Oh me oh my there's a LIGHT in the sky!"
(What was the song's title again?)

i'm just saying that, you know, when you travel to another planet you're an alien there. not to put too fine a point on it =P
if you were lookin' for little green men then perhaps Magma makes lots less sense

AFAIK, Nektar's wonderful 'Remember The Future' is based around a blind boy's communication with an alien. It's one of my all time favourite prog albums.
