This is a message for Yuko -
I'm looking for a CD that seems to only be available in Japan. I've found it on a number of sites, but they're all Japanese and...Do you have any advice - know of online shops that would deal w/ someone in America who only speaks English? The disc is Machine and the Synergetic Nuts, s/t, released by alibaba records in 2003.

Any advice would be MUCH appreciated!

Are you sure it's only available in Japan?

I have the same problem with Naikaku's debut, which is also only available in Japan.

Thanks for that, I knew I could rely on you to put me straight.  Not all of these blogs have details, you see.By the way, I have my own blog now, I doubt I'll use it for uploading albums, but it does contain a list of some of the relavent blogs I've found.http://essenceofmasterliness.blogspot.com/If you know of any other useful blogs, let me know.

My friend sent me a list through of some interesting blog a little while ago, when my computer crashed and lost all my favourites. Have a flick through the links and see what is of interest to you. He has very similar music tastes my own.

They have another two albums, one in 91 then 94. I have their 91 album "C'Étaient De Très Grands Vents". It is interesting if you are fan of the band, but definitely not essential listening. A lot slower moving, less energy, while a little more droning. If you are still interested some members of the band went onto from a band know as 000 (triple zero).

On another note if you are looking for another dark Zeuhl band you cannot head past Archaia's s/t album.

thanks, i'll have a look for those. Smile

hiya. what's Enneade's definitive track list? I've seen a few version, most frequently these two:

set a:
01: Troll / Break Up Dance
02: Xalph / Gya-Tei
03: Cafeine / La Couer des Miracles
04: Yochk'o Seffer / Freya
05: Eskaton / La Lutte
06: Francois Cahen / Les Villes Detruites
07: Shub-Niggurath / Jai Vu Naguere
08: Eider Stellaire / Millenaires
09: Musique Noise / Villiers
10: Farben / Mutations
11: Altais / Altais
12: Univers Zero / Toujours something something

or this:
>01: Magma - You
Troll
Xalph
>04: Paga - Urantia
Yochk'o
Eskaton
Francois Cahen
Shub
Eider Stellaire (does this mean space duck? ;P)
Musique Noise
Farben
Altais

perhaps it differs between certain releases? any idea?

Yey!

For  that other french important music invention: yé-yé girls!

Check her two fantastic EP's out at & Friends.  just as cool as France Gall And Francoise Hardy.

More important, (but maybe not as great music) for  most here is Mysteryposters Stella Zelcer collection of yé-yé 60's singles and EP's. Why? Because its the same Stella that married Christian Vander in the 70's.

Over land and under ashes
In the sunlight, see - it flashes
Find a fly and eat his eye
But don't believe in me
Don't believe in me
Don't believe in me
