She and her band have several fans here in PA. We can create an out-of-Japan fan club.

Don't forget Koenjihyakkei.  Angherr Shisspa is an amazing zeuhl album and of course, features Miyako from Le Silo.

I would not say familiar with them, but know of them. They passed through Australia and New Zealand sometime through the summer of '04. What you saw would have been their latest incarnation; they formerlly play as a trio, performing a strange mix of punk and folk. Not sure if they are worth while, once again I have only sampled them at my record store. What did you think of them?

They play a rather dull blend of Symphonic with strong influence from Jazz. They didn't really do anything for me. You would be better looking into Rainbow Theatre, for a more interesting jazzy progressive rock.

Thanks for that, I knew I could rely on you to put me straight.  Not all of these blogs have details, you see.

By the way, I have my own blog now, I doubt I'll use it for uploading albums, but it does contain a list of some of the relavent blogs I've found.

Just an 'i' and 'e' the wrong way round

I have "C'Etaient des Tres Grands Verts", do you think 'Testament' is worthwhile?

Mended Records, RecRec (Border Music) and Mutant Sounds I'm familiar with (and are listed on my blog).

I'll check some of the others out too.

Also add to that list:

it's certainly interesting. I think it reminds me of Art Zoyd a little more than the previous ones because it opens with some dark ambient murmurs. it's certainly not bad but maybe not a gem

Nice I thought this guy had shut down (like many of them), I see he is once again posting some very interesting works He also has another blog which was dedicated to film scores. I'm not sure what it was called; may have been a revamped version of 'Mr-lucky' which featured works starting with the letter 'M'

I think Lucky may have finished.  One of them certainly has, he's got into trouble or something, it's something to do with Border Music or something.

Also check out Mystery Poster.

Indeed, I have them too.  I'm not sure about all his stuff, but some of it looks very good.  RecRec is also pretty cool.

Over land and under ashes
In the sunlight, see - it flashes
Find a fly and eat his eye
But don't believe in me

Don't believe in me
