All the references I've seen to this band say the name of the band is Spin XXI. And looking at the band site suggests it is Spin XXI.

Well Progismylife, on the CD cover is written Spin as the bandname...

But if you look again it has XXI by the band name

The album cover definitely says Spin XXI.

Yes .... just about everybody calls them Spin XXI and that is what is on the cover .... so are we agreed it should be changed, Erik?

I was rather attracted by the cover and found this big pic .....

I just checked the CD cover, I have overlooked that below the Spin logo is printed XXI .. Progismylife and Snow Dog are right, it's Spin XXI ! Thanks fellow progheads Thumbs%20Up

...on the other hand, the biography says that the album was recorded by the band called Spin... Confused
 
Perhaps, there's a sense to write it in parentheses -- Spin (Spin XXI)?

That was my mistake Fassbinder because I overlooked the XXI in their logo when writing the biography, I hope Joolz will also correct that Embarrassed .... anyway, thanks for your post Thumbs%20Up

OK, Spin XXI it is .... thanks everybody .... Erik - I hope you like the amendments to the bio ....

- Spin XXI is a Brazilian band that is rooted in the Seventies and made history in the city Niterói. They played together in schools and amateur rock festivals. Spin (as they were then called) had a very special presentation by giving anthological gigs and sold out the Fluminense University Theater three times. They disbanded but later the members teamed up again some years under the name Contraponto. To complete the confusion a few years ago they regrouped as Spin XXI. Their debut CD entitled Contraponto was recorded between 2002 and 2006 and released in 2006!
