Opeth:
I am on the fence with these guys.  I have been listening to them since '99, so I am no stranger to their sound- which has its limits....even if it is brilliant!  But I think my favorite was their departure from their "usual" sound:  Damnation.
really I think a lot of them tend to blend together song for song and album for album and I really do not see it necessary to own them all.
