Topic: Prog Face-Off Posted: March 02 2007 at 14:15 |
Plot two prog artists against eachother in a FIST FIGHT!!! Who would win??
Peter Gabriel vs. Steve Hackett: After arguing while in the studio, they go at it...
Hackett would win because his hands are stronger from playing guitar
isnt this thread so awesome!!!

Taught yourself to like Abacab?
One of the most patronising statements I have read so far.

I'd almost rather they taught themselves to like Abacab than liked it without trying. While some Genesis fans may have taught themselves to like (or deluded themselves into liking) Abacab, I'm sure many poor sods (*wink, wink*) liked it without any effort. These poor people need to be taught by others not to like it. Anyway, I'm a pacifist, but if I wasn't, then I wouldn't mind seeing Fish and Gabriel in a duel (but please, no duets).

I don't think there would be much of a contest there. Fish is a giant. Steve Rothery vs Shawn Lane on the other hand...

^ true, I should have specified that I was thinking more along the lines of a duel using pistols at dawn, though. Fisticuffs are for girls! Real mean use cannons.

Emerson would stab'em both with knife's like he did with his keyboards in the early 70's ELP concerts.

That wasn't just any knife. That was a NAZI knife given to him by Nazi collector extrodinaire Lemmy!

Palmer would use his martial arts skills to disarm Emerson before kicking his arse all round the block. He would then kick the crap out of Lake just because he can.
