What a question? Impossible to choose, it depends on how I feel. But overall I'd say In The Court Of The Crimson King by King Crimson is my favorite. Also, MoonMadness by Camel and 2112 by Rush are among my all time favorite albums.

If I have to pick one for the best, it would have to be Selling England By The Pound.
Rounding out the rest of the Top 10* (not in order, unless my subconcious is really on the ball):
Clutching At Straws - Marillion
Lift Your Skinny Fists Like Antennas To Heaven - Godspeed You! Black Emperor
Vigil In A Wilderness Of Mirrors - Fish
Agaetis Byrjun - Sigur Rós
Wish You Were Here - Pink Floyd
Nursery Cryme - Genesis
Marbles - Marillion
Crime Of The Century - Supertramp
*This list is subject to change...

It's hard to choose just one, but I'll go with Focus' Hamburger Concerto -- and that's despite a strong preference for van der Linden's drumming over Allen's.

Close to the Edge.
A little way behind: KC - Larks Tongues; Mahavishnu O - Birds of Fire; Robert Wyatt - Rock Bottom.
Oh and then some Steely Dan, John McLaughlin....
