Regarding the next AA-song, I think it could be Repentence like the others have said, but I feel that because the other songs all had article-words that began the titled (THE Glass Prison, THIS Dying Soul, THE Root Of All Evil) that the next song might be The Ministry Of Lost Souls. The only other "THE" song on there is "The Dark Eternal Night", which, maybe, could possibly also be the next AA song.
I'm kind of hoping they finish the AA saga with a 5-Step epic, but it also makes sense for them to do two more songs (and finish it up on their fantastic 10th album), the next being 2 steps and the last being an epic with 3 steps (so you start and end the saga with 3-step songs).

This tracklisting looks great, and it looks like they're doing a Pink Floyd again with the book-ending epic track (which could very well be their new tribute to "Shine On You Crazy Diamond", which was also a 25:00 minute epic).

Also, the "Constant Motion" makes sense now considering that Portnoy is releasing a new DVD next month through Hudson titled "In Constant Motion". Now I'm wondering if the song was named so because of his new DVD (and possibly creating parts for the song as he jammed during those videoed sessions) or if the DVD was named after the song he was working on during the time of recording. I also wonder if any bits or previews of the new album will be present on the new instructional/educational DVD? I'm definitely getting it, either way!

This is very promising, if a bit dark-sounding with all the titles. Even the song titles have a theme to them going on, but I'm not sure how the album title "Systematic Chaos" fits with themes presented by the song titles (unless it's evident in the lyrics themselves, or if Systematic Chaos is a lyric itself). I can't wait!

-M.

I know what I like and I like what I know. I will choose a path that's clear, I will choose free will. If I die tomorrow, I`d be alright because I believe that after we`re gone, the spirit carries on.

Too dark.... now I'm worried....OuchShocked...... I just hope they don't deliver "The Glass Prison" but as a whole album.... they would dissapoint me, their greatest critical objector.... No, no sir.,... as long as it's not like that song, it will be OKBig%20smile...Please.... the heaviness is OK in small doses... LABrie and all of my boys deliver their best music when it's focused and balanced....

I don't really care about the title... I just can't wait till it comes out!

sounds very metal to me. Not necessarily a bad thing but things look even darker than TOT judging from the titles. But one cannot judge songs on their titles so I'll just wait for this one to come out!

I wonder which one of these songs is the unending continuation of MP's AA series....?

I think "Repentance" is going to be the next AA song.

You have obviously never listened to The Power To Believe or Present.

^ Can't be Paradise Lost, there's no mention of dragons or swords.

I don't like it.

Hey you may have stumbled on something..."DT's Ninth", like Beethoven's Fifth. Now that would be a cool title.

I know, I'm a big fan of the band. But insulting is fun even if it's baseless Smile

In the Presence of Enemies is the epic. Repentence is the AA song.

Here's the first review of the upcoming new album:

Kind of mixed feelings from that one. I'm not the biggest Metallica or Iron Maiden fan, and the constant references to them give me pause.

And what's with the discotheque and Robbie Williams crap!?! WHAAAAAAAAAAA????? I suppose it could be good or another "Disco Queen." Dead

And Forsaken being a radio smash a la Evenescense? ugh.... I can stand poppier stuff by Dream Theater (I love The Silent Man, Innocence Faded, and even some of the more shocking pop/rock on Falling into Infinity) but I don't know if I can take something like Evenescense.

kinda squeamish about the "Evanescence" but the techno elements I don't mind, Fates Warning pulled them off quite effectively with Kevin Moore on Disconnected......but not Disco Queen, pleeaaaaseeDead
