Keith Emerson in China on March 2nd, 2007

Dear friends,

We are proud to announce that Keith Emerson of Emerson, Lake & Palmer will be playing China for the first time in his career on March 2^nd, 2007!

The Beijing performance will feature the amalgamation of Keith’s “Piano Concerto No.1” alongside the “Yellow River Concerto” composed by Yin Chengzong, Chu Wanhua, Sheng Lihong, and Liu Zhuang. The orchestra is the renowned China National Symphony Orchestra (CNSO); the pianists are China’s most talented female pianist Sa Chen, and the American pianist Timothy Smith.

Keith will appear on stage to play his new arrangement of Alberto Ginastera’s “Malambo” (from the “Estancia Suite”) for piano, synthesizer, and full orchestra. The performance will be filmed by China’s Central Television (CCTV), and edited for later nationwide television broadcasting.

K Emerson’s new studio album is due to release in autumn 2007, and a European Tour of the K Emerson Band is on its way for the summer 2007. Plans for a World Tour will start soon after the album release.

	Well I hope the Ginestera piece is on the album. Toccata is one of my favourite ELP tracks so I'd be very interested to hear this!

	I hope the world tour that will be planned after the european tour, and the release of the new album includes a tour in south america, presicely, in Argentina
