Of these two recently released films, which one would you recommend?

I have heard that Wicker Man is a very bad remake of the original. Haven't seen it myself though.

Well, WTC is the only one of the two I saw...
Only reason I, and my friends, go to see Nicholas Cage movies is too see if he gets the **** beat out of him.
LOONG story behind that one.

I watched Wicker Man last night.
There wasn´t much wrong with Cage´s acting, I actually think he is quite a good actor.
The problem was with the story line, just not a great story. I haven´t seen the original yet though.

Never liked Cage as an actor.
Actually for the Wicker Man, I read that some defenders of the UK original (I think it was on this site too), came back a bit on their judgmernt of the remake!
While really not to be compared with the original, the remake is apparently not as bad as originally thought.
I'll wait until it comes on the tube, though.

let's just stay above the moral melee prefer the sink to the gutter keep our sand-castle virtues content to be a doer as well as a thinker, prefer lifting our pen rather than un-sheath our sword

None of those. "Raising Arizona" and "Adaptation". He shines like gold on those. There is also an Scorsese picture, I can't remember the name, about paramedics. Very good too, but mostly because of the story than mr. Cage's acting.

Face off would be... how to say this. Well, I don't like it at all. Con Air is worst, off course.
