I am not really a techno freak, I buy new stuff only when the old one breaks down or when a new decent support gets available. BUT I always wanted to get my vynyls on the PC in an easy way and I found an announce for this product. Has anyone heard anything or bought this record player?

Martin, I seem to remember there was another thread on a similiar device recently but I can't find it at the moment.

It's certainly not the best quality way of doing it, but it certainly works (my Dad got one, although I haven't been to see him since then), and seems pretty simple.

I would assume the general rule applies, if it does more than one thing it doesn't do anything really well. This is a device that has to do a whole lotta things. It'a not the only one by the way, there are a few to choose from.

No problem Martin. Not sure if you get any software with the deck, but you'll probably need something to clear the crackles and scratches off the records (if you have any!).

Alan,
According to the review software and de-noise system are  included, sounds really interesting and easy to use over the top.... and yes I was always very nice to my recordsWink

So was I as a rule, except for some inexplicable reason I once used Greg Lake's "I believe in Father Christmas" single as a frisbee, and it did not survive the experience.

nasty boy!LOL

I have some scratched records so . I remember ,I lent  an older  guy from my school my 'Santana' (first ) copy, mainly because he had a double neck guitar (an Ibanez  copy of the famous Gibson) and I wanted to play it and every time I asked him for the record he said next week  and when I finally got it back after a couple of months it had more or less survived so many parties and sounded like an old '78. BTW I'd never played his  guitar, but a friend from my class, bought a Gibson SC and sold me his Black Beauty Ibanez copy, which is still my most charished guitar.
