cuncuna, do you use a crostini recipe or do you just wing it?

A variation of the "Crostini nieri", wich is made with smashed chicken liver, chopped olives, a bit of garlic, red wine and nutmeg. So beautiful. You should see my girlfriend walking around the kitchen while I'm preparing those... like a hungry shark waiting for me to get dictracted by something, in order to be able to steal a bit of the fill.

There is also that one with blue cheese, mushrooms, sparragus and bacon. I heard once that in it's place of origin, Toscana, if I remember correctly, it is impossible to find two Crostinis tasting the same.

I have several recipes, but lately, I've been more in the mood of improvising, depending of what flavours I'm thinking off. Again, Mercedes (girlfriend, healthy apetite) has a lot to say about this, since sometimes she thinks about combinations of things that we have in the kitchen.

I don't know yet. We are suppose to be free since Pinochet was defeated, but certain aspects of democracy have the sound of vulture wings.

cuncuna, I'm curious. What kind of car do you drive? Surely not a Mercedes, it sounds like you save her for the bedroom!

Here are a couple of zingers:

Why is there anything rather than nothing?

Is reality confined to what is perceptible by the senses (do things cease to exist once you are not interacting with them)?

Do wasps have souls?

When did language begin, and more importantly, when did intelligence begin?

1.- That is Anne's fault. (I'll explain more if asked).
2.- Yes. For example, as I told my girlfriend just yersterday, all the other women in the world just doesn't exist to me ...
3.- No, they were a horrible band, certainly not a teaspoon of soul in them.
4.- I think the very first full sentence known to mankind was "ĦĦĦRUN FOR YOUR LIFES!!!". Intelligence began when the first guy thought about grabbing a woman before start running for his life, thinking "I think I like it... at least it seem better than being chewed... ".

1.- Because lawyers are wizards. I don't understand how, but they always get something.
2.- I would like to believe that it is because the owners are decent, concerned and caring human beings. Truth is they want money.
3.- It does, but only little ships.
