jazz rock\fusion. To me there just won't be anything that compares to stuff that this genre produced in the 70s.

I clicked zeuhl and I'm not afraid to admit it. although it's a tiny subgenre I love almost everything that I've heard from the style - I can't say that about my other favourite genres - avant-garde, canterbury and italiano.

[my other favourite genre is king crimson ;) ]

I'm divided between prog-metal and sympho-prog, with neo-prog not far behind, and all other genres except post rock, from which I've only heard two albums, but two atrocious ones so, until I heard something good, it's my only disliked genre.

  1. Symphonic Prog (Evident in my case)
  2. Prog Folk (Which IMHO should be renemed to Ethnic Prog)
  3. Proto Prog/Psychedelia (If we don't understand the roots we don't understand the branches)
  4. Art Rock (A sumatory of all genres)
  5. Prog Fusion

Prog metal but with the classic bands like DT, Fates Warning, Threshold, Queensryche or S. Gallery... I still can´t consider bands like Opeth or Pain Of Salvation as a prog metal...
I´m in art rock and progrock, too, mainly the gods Rush !

1) Psy/Space
2) Art Rock
3) Symphonic
4) Prog Metal
5) Tied between RIO/Avant and Progressive Electronic

Actually I love it all, although I'm not feelin' the Krautrock or Zeuhl quite yet...
