As A BJH-Fan I'd have to go for "Everyone is everybody else", but I love "Crime of the Century" and "The Lamb lies down on Broadway" best from the list !

Tangerine Dream's Phaedra
The birth of electronic ambient ! Far ahead in advance on its time !
And still not dated more then 30 years after !

Erm...decisions, decisions!
It will have to be narrowed down to four
1. Genesis - The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway
2. Camel - Mirage
3. Yes - Relayer
4. Rush - Rush
Although, 'Mirage' pips the other three to the post, and that gets my vote

From what I've heard: 1. Red Queen to Gryphon Three - awesome, folk prog at its best 2. Mirage - a very cool album, each song has something special to offer. 3. Relayer 4. The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway 5. Hamburger Concerto 6. Turn of the Cards 7. Red 8. Queen II - Was never big on this one for some reason, prefer many of their following albums.

It's missing the 3. Greatest Prog album of all time. "Being" by Wigwam.

I agree with Wutu. but I voted for The Lamb. It's both awesome and sad, sad because Peter Gabriel left after it, great because his last album with Genesis could not have been better

This is my favourite year, not only in prog, but in rock/pop in general.
I voted Rock Bottom here. It's simply one of the best albums of all times.
My top 10 prog albums list from this year would look something like this:
1. Rock Bottom.
2. Silent Corner And The Empty Stage.
3. The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway.
4. You.
5. Red.
6. Relayer.
7. Mirage.
8. Phaedra
9. Biglietto Per L'Inferno
10. Crime Of The Century.
By the way, isn't Hatfield And The North from 1973?

However, if one were to include Roxy Music in the prog rock genre, I'd put Country Life on 4th or possibly 5th place here.
