It's...not there! There's nothing devoted to it at the Tull page proper. Is that an accident, or does it not count, or...what?

Is it a separate release?

If it is, it should be added to the main page of the group.

If it isn't, you may add the information about this DVD to the A subpage of Jethro Tull (in the subsection called "Release Information" or something like that -- "The 200? remastered version includes also the Slipstream DVD, consisting of (put in the track list of the DVD)..."

Uh, it is available as part of the A CD, but I'm pretty sure it is (or at least was) available seperately...

Recent search at Amazon.com reveals that it's available as a DVD and VHS from various sellers (i.e., used copies, as opposed to from Amazon).

Thoughts?

If it is (or was) an official separate DVD then it should be added as a separate entry to the main Jethro Tull page.

If not, it should be added as a part of the remastered A.

The DVD (at Amazon) is an import, the VHS is from Universal. When I check the Tull website, it mentions the video, but says it's out of print.

All the other videos at the Tull site are mentioned here, including the other out of print, "20th Aniversary."

I suggest you to wait a bit for some additional opinions here, then the decision will come, eventually.

The possibility to update the A release information is always there.

Should I, like, bring it up here and there? Cleverly and in an under-table-sort of way? Like make a poll called: "Slipstream isn't in the Archives; how will YOU kill yourself?"

...Like that?

OK then ..... forraging around the internet I cannot find an explicit statement about the original release of "Slipstream", but there are plenty of allusions to its release as a VHS video in 1981 ..... including "Two older videos, "Slipstream" and "The 20th Anniversary" are not in print ..." on the official JT site. I think therefore it is fairly safe to say it was officially available in VHS ..... but not DVD until 2004 when it was packaged with the CD album "A" ..... though there seems to be a DVD sourced from Brazil which is almost certainly not an official release.

So ..... I would say "Slipstream" can be added as a separate entry for the VHS dated 1981 .... you can create this if you wish

Also ..... the entry for "A" needs to be updated to show the 2004 re-issue with this DVD included ..... I will do this now! .... EDIT: done, but I didn't have track timings Cry  ..... if anyone has them I would be appreciative

I tried...I honestly did. But I don't think it worked.

I couldn't find a good picture, so I used a small one, and it said that it couldn't upload it.

So I went back, removed the picture, and submitted it that way. It said I hadn't done all fields.

SO, I went back, tried ANOTHER picture, one I thought was a little large, but it recognized as a picture...and it said I'd hit some other error that was in computer language and thus beyond me.

...Did anything make a joke attempt of getting through?

Toimorrow a guy is comming to give maintennance to my PC and fix the scanner, so inmediately I will scan the cover and upload it.

One question, is the sound of your DVD as bad as mine?

The selection is excellent but the sound is not great.
