I created two new topics this week related to ELP and Greg Lake. Those two topics have been deleted. This is crap and not fair. I begin to think that this group is not welcome on this site.
I think that I am not welcome here, so maybe I should not post anymore new topics ( they will be deleted) or anymore new post.

A really great deception here.Thumbs Down

Try a quick search for the topics PS. I think you'll find they are still here, they have just been moved to the correct sections.Wink

I found out , thanks. Maybe if I had received an e-mail telling me that my threads were relocated, my frustration would not have been there.

It's not the admins responsibility to notify you of threads being moved. It's your responsibility to have the topics in the correct section, like this thread is.
back from the dead, i will begin posting reviews again and musing through the forums

In most other forums misplaced threads are simply deleted.Shocked

It's a good service that the thread get's relocated instead of being deleted.

I don't know how often a thread get's relocated, but maybe if it's not much work the thread starter get's a PM notification of the moving of the thread?

would increase the service, and maybe help people to understand that they should think were there thread should be started in a positive way.

I would say up to 20 times a day.

We are not here to play nursemaid to people who just want to grab attention in the Prog Lounge.

Having to move threads is one of the most irritating duties for the Mod Team. If my post seems unrepentant or not "customer-focussed" then that is why!

You say we should contact people? How often do people contact us and apologise for causing us extra work?
Some of the worst offenders are Collaborators and long-term Senior Members.

I think it is arrogant and ignorant to just start threads in the Prog Lounge without even considering where the best place to start them...

agree that it is a lot of work, but maybe a notification will make people more aware of the work a wrong location of a thread means for you, so they will be more motivated to start threads in the apropriate sections.

certainly from collab's you can expect a possitive reaction, and in time it may make your work easier.

educate the masses and let them dance to the right beat.

Isn't the fact that you have to actually look for your thread after it was moved sufficient notification? Wink

Ok, I do understand that this is not the best place to do this, but I am not too secure to start a new thread, so I'll say it here, knowing that the people who should see it will.

I would like to sincerely apologise publically for my presence on the site since February. These times were not the best for me, and I can't recall posting here being actually happy and not stressed out. Naturally, I was introverted to the point of not noticing a human in anyone else but myself, and it's a good thing I've come to this realization at least now - better late than never. I am sorry for the feelings and reactions I have caused, because I was so depressed as not to feel other people, let alone feeling people from other sides of the screen.

I know it is difficult to seriously consider an apology from a tense user like this, but having realized this, I can't allow myself to keep it inside me. Sorry for passing so much stress.

Peace,
Ivan.

No apology required, your forum behaviour during the time you mention has been beyond reproach, as far as I can recall....any other "issues" are just part and parcel of a day at "the office".

Thank you, I hope things aren't as bad as I imagine. It's just whenever I read about a "collaborator annoying and offending the admin team", I can't help thinking about anyone else but myself. That's true though, we all have our bad days.
