I play chillout - mostly modern lowbeat electronica, but wherever possible, I try to cross-pollenate & get classic laid back prog in there, too - when I was playing the above gig, I got Porcupine Tree, Steve Hillage & Ozric Tentacles into the mixes. In the past, Floyd, Tangerine Dream & even 'Planet Caravan' by Black Sabbath have been in my sets

Indeed it is - this is the back of the flyer advertising the above gig:

It all came about a few years ago, when I let slip that I'm 1/4 Jewish (Vicky maintains it's the quarter which contains my wallet ), then I started using the name as a joke on a Psychedelic Trance forum, the name stuck...

...to be honest, it's a bit of a millstone, now but it's how I'm known - hey-ho!

You want a serious look, James? A man at work and at one with his decks:

I was having a whale of a time, honest...

...or a more atmospheric shot, sans flash, with just the uv for lighting:

The look of concentration was masking the thought "let's see if they notice me mixing a Steve Hillage guitar solo into the middle of this one"

"DA RABBI"? Is that your artist's name, Jim? Tongue

Nice photos! Smile

Obviously your sleeves shrink at night time
When people get lost in thought it's often because it's unfamiliar territory.

That's the camera's (and lighting's) fault. I actually have very dark brown hair.

haha, thank you!

I think my thoughts(when taking the top photo) must have been: "hey! there's a small red light on the camera, I wonder what that means..."

And for the guitar pic, I guess I was just trying to look focused and serious(when the reality just might be quite the opposite!)

Yours truly:
(edit: my eyes aren't crooked like the picture might imply. let's just blame it on the camera being gay)

Yours truly accompanied by his faithful axe(erm, it actually belongs to my brother, but he has an RG 2720( http://ibanezregister.com/images/images-rg/2720fm/DSCN3074.JPG ) from the Prestige series so I am currently occupying his RG 470):

A clipper attacked you?

Nah I wasn't feeling well, so I spontaneously went to the barber and told them to cut my hair a bit. I regret it. Ouch

It's ok as long as you go on with the diabolo Tongue
