no im talking about an older post, you changed the stuff around SO funny, I had curses too but the best was you changed the title to like "See why i am such a moron" or something and people would read the post and then you edited like the bottom saying "i am an idiot" or something it was great |
You are fantasising now,if I edit your posts you will see something like this: "Edited by Tony R - 03 December 2006 at 22:54"
If this is absent then I have not touched your posts...if you aren't happy consult another Admin who will confirm this.

It's true. If a post is edited by anyone (either the poster or an admin), the editing is recorded within the post, saying who did it.

It's NOT true. If a post is edited by anyone but a Canadian job-shirking gremlin (either the poster-boy for washboard abs, or an ad man), the editing is recorded within the post, saying who did it, and who forgot to flush. |
That's strange....

Tony starts to tear hair out in total frustration....self immolation starts to look like a viable and more pleasing alternative to communicating with The Lost Chord...

Max IS working on updating the forum software at the moment.
I have tested a version of the forum that seems to be 100% compatible with IE7.
All the things that were lost to me are available again:
Copying an pasting links
Copying and pasting or "quoting" formatted posts
Copying and pasting from outside sources, including articles with pictures
Smileys now go where you want and you can see the emoticon rather than the forum code
You can create hyperlinks.
You can format your text without having to do it manually.
ETC...
Be patient it will be happening soon. |
READ!
That is an order....

Work is ongoing on significant improvements to the site TLC. These need to be prepared then tested first of course.
You can expect to see the changes in the first half of 2007, with resolution of issues such as the IE7 problems coming in first. I'd guess it will be January or February for those bits.
Please be patient and respect the fact the the webmasters are doing all this in their own time. They also have day jobs!

I am sorry for being so tactless, but why bother putting so much effort into replying to a topic that is going to be closed (and they aren't closed for no reason, mind you). I mean, shouldn't YOU - the poster - be the one to know better, rather than blaming the people who obviously have siignificanty more crucial business to worry about?
edit: crap, wrong thread. Forget about this post.

surely, don't tell me "soon" though and have me still using IE7, I am now going to uninstall it...I figured this would take a day or two.
Again, just awful communication here on the forums
