Dear Cuncuna,

lately I've been listening to The Sisters of Mercy, The Mission, The Birthday Party etc. instead of prog. Am I turning into a goth? If yes, what should I do about it?

¿I did that? I don't remember telling anybody to "go to hell". Plus, I'm an atheist, so I don't believe in hell. So, I feel confused and missquoted (¿is that a word?).

¿How can I do that?. I truly think it is impossible. Anyway, headless music (if there is such thing) is unpleasent for me. As you said, enjoying is all that matters. So, before I throw myself into reggaeton, I would really like to ask you to consider that last statement.

Buy some make up and start thnking about yourself as a fallen demon angel that cries all the time and how sad it is to always cry and use clothes with no colour.

I'm not an expert into Radioheadness, so I really can't tell if prog is radioheaded or not. I can tell that some aspects of prog are interesting, but I'll have to read some books about radioheadnicity and then I'll get back to you with a proper answer.

GO TO HELL!!!

A friend was watching that crap the other day. I only saw a couple of seconds of it, but I'm disgusted beyond reach... every copy of that should be buried... and if you like it so much, at the point of writting the name with exclamation marks in a thread about the best movie ever, you are sadly sick.

Oh... that. I thought you were talking about our young Peter Gabriel. I think he thought so too. Well, 16 or not, anyone who quotes that horrendous movie deserves a strong expression such as that, and go to a Psychiatric facility for a while. That movie should be banned. I apologize for the inconsistency between my atheism and the expresion used, but I used it only because it is common between U.S.A. people. A month ago, a man from this country took his own life by hanging himself from the window of his appartment. His body was hanging very near to the street. People that walked by that street that day posed next to the body while photographing temselves with their digital cameras. They also played and joked with that man's dead body. Movies like those gore films do that to people, so, that 16 years old PA member must be corrected.

That is the sickest, most disrespectful thing I have ever heard.
(The posing with the dead body bit)

It happened in Santiago, Chile, like a month ago. I couldn't believe it myself. Sick and sad, morbosity here is on the raise. Everytime a car crash occurs, people start trying to get a look at the corpse, make jokes about it, etc. People often ask me how can I hate my country so much... I have plenty of reasons for this, morbosity being one of them.

I respect your opinion on this subject cuncuna. People shouldn't be allowed to make films like that.

Oh, you have to be kidding. ¿Doesn't Chancho en Piedra wrotte a song about watching people killed in car accidents?. ("¡placeeer, al veer, cómo, es uno por dentro, plaaceeer, al veer, cómo, el finado quedooó"... ¿ring any bells?). About the suicidal guy and people playing with him, it happened in Santiago. Someone need to watch the news. Being 16 isn't an excuse for not to be aware of things. I certainly don't want you to be bitter about everything in live, but your eyes must be opened.

Also shouldn't be allowed to distribute it. And the parents of that teenager should do what my grandfather use to do with us: send us out to work the whole day in the garden with the shovel, full sun and everything. A good day of really hard work can teach you many things, as well as it is a very good punishment.
