Wrathchild?
Running Free?
The Prisoner?
Number of the Beast?
22 Acacia Ave?
The Trooper
Still Life?
Gee, I guess I'll have to go for Trooper.

I'd probably go with Rime Of The Ancient Mariner, too - honourable mentions as well go to Wrathchild, Flight Of Icarus, Powerslave & Children Of The Damned.
Great band - good to see them enjoying something of a renaissance these days

My personal favorite is "The Trooper", but the question asked for "the ultimate Maiden track".
The context of that, in my opinion, is a little different than "what's your favorite?", so I chose Hallowed Be Thy Name, which is an epic masterpiece.

Agreed. The Trooper's opening riff and main melody sucks me in every time I hear it; classic Maiden. but Hallowed is a more complete, diverse song.

"Rime" is longer, but "Trooper" is better!
The poll says I've already voted; I haven't.

I voted for the Trooper and was disappointed that The Number of the Beast was ommitted. I guess I could have chosen "other".

I have to say Hallowed Be Thy Name, as it has everything going for it. Riffs, vocals, melodies, everything is put together perfectly to create one of the best songs of all time.
