Par-boil for 10 minutes. Then roasted in an oven for about 1 1/2 hours with a little olive oil, honey, sprig of rosemary, salt n pepper. Turn ocassionally. Enjoy with roast beef. Yummy.

You can cut it in thin scales and put it to boil in water to remove the starch which is unhealthy.
Then, i like to fry it with oil and garlic, it's also excellent with duck's grease.

I like potatoes cooked any way,but prefer mashed.

Ever heard of twice baked potatoes? You bake them, cut in half, and scoop out the potato. Then mix the potato, sour cream, cheddar cheese and chives.Put the mixture back in the potato shells and top with cheddar cheese and broil or bake again.

MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM

What amazes me is that certain items that are inseparable parts of the present European food were only discovered there after Columbus and others came here, in the Americas: potato, tomato, corn, avocado, cocoa, cashew, turkey, etc. Can someone imagine European cuisine without some of these products?

BTW, I like potatoes in all manners, but I prefer them toasted and very spiced! Smile

Mash......mmmmm.............. my best comfort food, beats the hell outta chocolate!!!

(I had a HORRIFIC mash experience on a ferry recently.....I think it was instant mash, I am not sure, but it was grey and tasted REALLY bad, I ate my sausages and left the grey lump and felt rather sad!)

I like my potatoes mashed, or as fries (although I seldom eat fries as it's pretty unhealthy).
