Hey everyone!

I am a new member here.  I happened across this site using Stumble upon extension in Firefox.  Anyway... I am glad to see a site (community) devoted to Progressive Rock.  I am a Prog-metal fan first and foremost.

My favorite Prog bands are Dream Theater, Opeth, Cult of Luna, James Labrie and Mullmuzzler, Liquid Tension Experiment, Death, Dead Soul Tribe, Shadow Gallery, Riverside, Dark Suns, Meshugga, Tool... etc...OH... and Atheist!  I found them on here.. WOW!  What a great band!

BTW... Speaking of Dream Theater... of course I am a fool for every members side projects... an album in particular I am looking for is James Labrie Winter Rose from 1989.  I know it was re-released in 1997 and I can find it on Amazon for $40!!!  I know it is basically glam metal... but it is a must for my collection.  Any suggestions on where to find it at a reasonable price would be great.

Anyway, just wanted to introduce myself and say hello.

Anyone who visits PA in a 15-20 min daily basis, will soon be talking about Italian Symphonic, curious about Zeuhl, hearing different stuff like Los Jaivas or Sigur Rós, discussing prog-related, etc. The average PA member likes 3 or 4 prog-genres, at least! Wink

Howdy neighbor. Your MySpace says Fargo so I'm assuming you must be from Moorhead. I'm just down I-29 from you in South Dakota.

Welcome!

Cool!  I do not make it south on I-29 very often.  Yes... we are stuck in the worst place on the planet to see good concerts.  Unless you happen to be near the cities... good shows are few and far between in this neck of the woods.

Not quite. The hottest thing we have coming up in Sioux Falls is something called a 'Dierks Bentley'. I think I already got my immunization for that though....

Welcome mysticpain!

I know this may be a very silly question, I used to have a friend from Minnesota and have lost track of him, we haven't spoke in about 10 or more years. I was just wondering if you may know him? I'd have to PM you his name.

Anyway, glad to have you here.
