Now there's a cultural reference probably lost on our non-British members | The non-brits arent the only ones....... |
If you don't get the reference, consider yourself very lucky!

When people get lost in thought it's often because it's unfamiliar territory.

Indeed he did, but he might come back. I still have to listen to annoying Ruth though and David and Ruth's even more annoying son! Oh and Jim, is that the Omnibus Edition music, or the normal daily version? They're different. No doubt I'll hear what's been going on, on Sunday.

Can't have the Grey Room on the second page- must keep the interest up. Can some of the usual suspects please answer a question for me? Why are we not visited by some of the distinguished ladies of PA in the Grey Room? We all know that some are elligible for participation! Shed bantering scaring them off??? Are we not of a certain wit or is our wit not certain? Answers or comments?

Yes, it is a pity. It doesn't seem an overly macho thread, either.

I know, I've been meaning to post this for a couple of days now so when I had a chance tonight, I did just that. It is a bit curious though, I mean, a lady like Ghost Rider, Progsylvie or Hibou would be interesting to have exchanging in the GR. I've read some of their posts and there are some highly witty and intelligent observations made by these ladies.

You're absolutely right, James. How could I forget Progchick and her poor back problems. But she is the only one if memory serves me right.

Yes, and I liked progchick from the moment I met her. Perhaps they smell the quiet desperation-- isn't it the English way, at least according to that guy Pink?

I've actually met prog-chick in person and I can definitely agree that she is a nice person indeed. Hopefully one day I'll catch up with her again.
And how does alias10mr know my name? I guess he's peeked at my profile.

In various threads people call you James, you don't seem to disagree so I guess that means your name is James... Yeah, I peeked. By the way, in all fairness, my name is Michel.

Another québécois who does not know Bern. I've read some of his posts but that's about it.

Bern is the the essence of masterliness, le Québécois n00b. Vice le Bern! I forget which part of Québec he's in now, he did tell me once, oh well. Better creations than poutine? Céline Dion is not a better creation!
