I wish you 'd explain it to me. Then again, I've never been very " jiggy wit it" as far as Will Smith's concerned...

Oh, well I dislike Will Smith too, but Prince of Bel Air wasn't that bad... or maybe it was.

Ah yes, Marty Feldman was cool. He was a part of the Mel Brooks comedy scene, but was actually English and was friends with Monty Python and all that lot.
Oh, yes, we did get Third Rock From The Sun and it wasn't too bad. However, That 70s Show and Scrubs are much better!
Infact, Scrubs is rather good.
For some strange reason, I also enjoyed Prince of Bel Air.

I have to agree with you on those American show, they were rather good (yes even Bel Air ). Whilst on the subject of comedies, any fans of Have I Got News For You, QI and Never Mind The Buzzcocks, I think they're all rather good.

QI is masterly, I like that one. Have I Got News For You is brilliant, especially Paul Merton, who is a kind of a hero of mine, he's so quick off the mark.
I even liked the Sports one and I also watch Question of Sport most weeks and I hate sport.

Yes, I liked that too, because they didn't always have sportspersons on it, which added that extra bit of humour to it.

Use to watch 'Thin Blue Line' with a buddy...it was pretty good, 'Black Adder', too. I'm still waiting for 'Spinal Tap Mark II - The New Direction'

The Thin Blue Line?
That was another crappy thing with James Dreyfus in.
As you can tell, I'm not a fan of James Dreyfus!
Blackadder is a classic though.
But Dark Sith Jody will agree with me when I say two words.
Red Dwarf.

Yes, Blue Line was disappointing, I do like Atkinson though. Also couldn't get much into Blake's 7.

Doh!
How the hell did I miss 'Bottom' and 'Red Dwarf' from my list?
Bottom will always have me falling over laughing & is another show I can re-visit frequently; Red Dwarf is just one of those BBC comedy classics with a good cast, great writing & appalling special effects
...and, James -
Just for you...

Two pints of lager and a packet of crisps please - Splodgenessabounds 1980.
Yes, Sheridan Smith does have a couple of outstanding features

Bottom can be summed up with an alternative meaning of said show's name: "arse"

had to pick up on this.....
Sgt.Bilko ("The Phil Silvers Show") was the best American comedy show to hit our shores IMO (apart from Laverne and Shirley), top class, slick quickfire gags, good plots and storylines, every character was brilliant! Phil Silvers was a true genius and sorely missed, he was very popular here, he even got a part in a "Carry On" film ( the one about the Foreign Legion "Carry On Follow That Camel") I even enjoyed watching "Top Cat", the cartoon show based on Bilko.

Is that an "Ooooooh nooooooo" at my sheer audacity of mentioning The Archers, or are you infact an avid listener? Bottom was silly, but still rather funny, not the best there was though. I preferred The Comic Street Presents..., but that was much earlier than Bottom of course. Shows that I should have hated, but didn't: The Brittas Empire - this really wasn't that good, but I somehow watched it every week 'Allo 'Allo - The silliest comedy ever created! It's the worst kind of humour, but ir's funny for the wrong reasons Hi-di-hi/Oooh Dr. Beeching/The other one with almost the same cast - why? why and why?
