Sad news, which I am sure will have a happy ending.  Come on Keith, we need you!  Music needs you!

Cheers

Too bad.

I hope he feels better, lately I have been dealing with a serious medical condition of my own, it sucks, so I feel for him.

That's terrible to hear, but I'm sure he'll pull through it.

May i say that most of the posts seem very gloomy indeed, geting a triple heart bypass or stenting of the heart is as routine as visiting the dentist. Stop being so gloomy and rejoice that the great man will go on even longer now.

The thing about Keith for me is I guess I've loved him as pretty much a member of my family for over 30 years... He's always been a huge part of my life and as you all know, one of my heroes.  I guess its just hard facing the fact that your hero may be mortal...

I'm sure he'll be just fine, its just I'm worried this might slow him down a bit....

I wouldn't have thought so. Just so long as he doesn't do what Wakey did in 1975 and really push his luck.

First Wakeman retires, now Emerson gets an artery blockage?  Oh lord.

My deepest prayers go out to you, Kieth!

Anywhereabout. I wish him all the best, he's still young, so shouldn't be a real problem in the long run

Well he's put this up on his website... so hopefully this means its not as bad as we thought... or it probably means he doesn't want to tell us everything... as usual.. but I can't blame him...

Dear Friends,

Although the initial news leak had me at death's door, I'm happy to report that I have not had a heart attack. A routine EBT scan gave cause for further investigation and I was advised by my cardiologists to pursue such before committing to a tour. I am currently in England for this purpose and will have a myocardial perfusion stress test on Wednesday. The result of this and other tests will determine whether further tests are necessary. I hope to keep you notified on the outcome.

Meanwhile I would like to sincerely thank all those who sent messages wishing me well and hope, all being well, to be "on the road" soon.

Emo
