I have a prog band, but we dont have a name...so I was seeing if I like any...and no
I used to have a band with the same bassist (well, you can hardly call them a band...we didnt have a drumer) and the name was Son of none...its not bad, but its way to dark...in an Evanescence way...and I hate EvanescenceAngryAngryAngryAngry

I want something with Fibonacci... maybe Fibonacci´s sequenceWacko, you tell me if you like it...and keep em coming!

Yes, something like "Eleven Shades of Fibonacci" would sound pretty cool (basically because it would be totally meaningless)... But it would have to be a post rock band, and the first album would have to be entitled "Postmodern Algebra for Chamber Rock Ensemble and Choir".
I think you can handle it from there. Wink

mmm...Shocked
hehehe
Actually, we still need to discuss it with the drumer, but me and the bassist like Secuencia Fibonacci (its the same but in spanish...somehow it sounds better than in english)...
so the fisrt album would have to be named One...the second also One, the third Two...the fourth Three, the fifth Five, the sixth Eight... and so on...jejejej

¿"Sequencia"?... in spanish, it's "Secuencia". Sequencia, in spanish, would sound like "Sekencia". And it is wrong, off course. For any Art, the following works: is not "what", or "how" you use it, but the "why" what counts. So... ¿why using a name in spanish?.

Oh!... sorry about that. I should note "Argentina" bellow your avatar. ¿Does the sound of your band has anything to do with math? (in a way close to Fripp or Frith). If not, maybe you should try to describe the mood, in order to suggest a name. Or a sound sample, perhaps?...

Greetings from Chile, neighbour. ¿Are you the samy fellow who said that writing lyrics in spanish was difficult?. Shame, your country is (and was)the home of Cortázar, Borges, Bioy Casares and Sábato.

Added on editing: check out the names of the bands in "bandasdechile.cl". Very funny.

mmm... TAAL and TOOL are already taken, so I guess TEEL, TIIL and TUUL... and TAEIOUL, for a more diversity related approach.
